So I don’t normally read books like this. In fact, I have NEVER read a book like this.
It was released on 29 January 2015 & is a true story written by (with the help of a ghostwriter), Megan Stephens.
At 14 years old, going on holiday is meant to be an amazing, fun & innocent experience. Unfortunately, what happened to Megan over the course of 6 years, completely ripped her life apart.
I read this book in a few hours. It was shocking, and yet, I couldn’t stop reading.
The sadness, anger & confusion that I felt was something that I cannot describe.
Weirdly, it’s one of the best books that I have read in years. I wanted to reach out and give Megan a hug.
The evil portrayed in this book is beyond belief and something we cannot fathom.
No child should go through what poor Megan went through, but, at 25 years old, Megan is now trying to start a new life.
It’s a wonderfully honest, and upsetting true account of pure innocence versus pure evil.
I got my copy from my local ASDA store, but you can grab your copy from Amazon here
